Bodie Revival

This typeface was created in tandem with a book design project titled Dear Bodie. More information on that project can be found here.

This is a digitization and in-progress reimagining of a vintage reverse stress type specimen. As characters were recreated on the computer, certain visual and stylistic tweaks were made to make the letters feel fresher and more cohesive. I wanted to have something to use in the book and adjoining posters that could function well at larger sizes but maintain the feeling of The West.
